About Me

Hi! I am Jenny, a dually licensed therapist in Minnesota. I am dedicated to helping clients navigate challenges with mental health, addiction, and big life changes. My work is deeply fulfilling and I love walking alongside clients during significant life moments while witnessing their progress and achievements. My goal is to offer hope, understanding, and steadfast support throughout your therapy journey.

I am passionate about supporting children and teens who feel misunderstood or overwhelmed, whether facing school struggles, social anxiety, loneliness, or substance use issues. I use play therapy with younger clients to help them process their emotions and build lasting coping skills. My therapeutic approach is flexible and individualized, incorporating techniques such as Brainspotting, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I look forward to working alongside you on your healing journey!

I specialize in substance use counseling and youth mental health.

I am strongly motivated by my Christian faith and bring compassion, empathy, and a deep commitment to supporting clients through their challenges.

My approach is centered on understanding and respecting each individual's unique beliefs and experiences, while striving to reflect Christ’s love for everyone, regardless of their background or beliefs. My faith informs my commitment to offering care with integrity, kindness, and a belief in the inherent worth of every person.

Whether you share a similar faith or hold different beliefs, you are welcome here. I am honored to walk alongside you on your therapy journey.

My Approach

I am motivated in my work by the love and grace of Christ.

Play Therapy

I also have experience and training in using play therapy with children. Play is a child’s most natural way of communicating, and it helps them express emotions, process experiences, build relationships, and develop coping skills when they don’t yet have the words. Play therapy offers a comfortable and engaging way for children to explore their feelings with support and guidance. I also collaborate closely with parents and caregivers to help them understand their child’s needs and identify ways to encourage growth outside of sessions. I’ve seen play therapy be impactful for children with many different challenges, and I’m dedicated to using it to support children in their healing and growth.
